Struck With Love

Love is in full bloom! It is the eve of Cupids favorite holiday, Valentines Day! This holiday happens to be one of my favorites. With flowers, balloons, chocolates, and everything so pink and sparkly! Ahhh! I know, I know...So the real question is what's the best look for V-Day? Weather you got a date, going out with friends, or flying solo to a movie, these three looks will only make you shine! It is the brand new palette from Too Faced called The Romantic Eye! Absolutely gorgeous. And the best part is that you don't have to be a pro to use these fabulous colors. The palette comes with three cards that teaches you step by step (day by day) how to apply each color! Yipeeee! What more could you possibly ask for! I'm in love!

The "Point":

Tomorrow is finally Valentine's Day! I remember the very first V-Day that I had an actual date. I was in 12th grade and his name was Joe. I will never forget what he got me because it not only commemorated our first Valentines but also our first "kiss". It was kissing teddy bears and it was quite awkward actually. It was super planned, right in front of my house. I'm sure my mother was peeking through the blinds as she always did but I didn't care, not today! We both counted to three, closed our eyes, and went for it. It was just a peck really, but I somehow managed to almost knock him off his feet...literally. I was quite embarrassed as he tried to catch himself after that horrible display of my "love". haha! I've improved since then thank God and I'm sure my husband is grateful! For many people Valentines Day is not so memorable. It is a lonely holiday were it seems like everyone around them is deeply madly in love and all that matters is each other. Unfortunately, society makes this holiday seem like it's meant to be celebrated with a boy that loves you... blah! Blah! Blah! Yes, it is nice, however is love just shared between two people? If you do not have a Valentine, then go and find one. In other words demonstrate your love to someone who needs it. Go make a dinner for someone in need. Shower your newly divorced friend with balloons and a card. Visit some kids in the hospital. There is always need for love! Romans 12:10 says, "Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves." That is the best way to celebrate cause you are NEVER alone!Weather you are with your true love or waiting on your prince, may you be inspired to show love and in turn be STUCK WITH LOVE!-Mua!
